The Quiet Power of Daily Prayer

Many people approach prayer as if it is a way to convince God to do what we want.

We bring Him our requests and hope He answers them exactly the way we expect.

But Jesus taught something deeper.

When He instructed His disciples how to pray, He included the phrase “Your will be done.” That simple line changes everything.

Prayer does not exist to bend God’s will toward ours. Prayer bends our hearts toward His.

As we spend time with God, our perspective begins to shift. We begin to care about the things that matter to Him. Our hearts grow softer toward others. Our priorities start to change.

In other words, prayer transforms us.
