Maybe you’re exploring faith for the first time. Maybe you’ve been in church for years but aren’t sure where you stand with God. You don’t have to pretend with Him.
Our deepest need isn’t a better routine or a more religious life. We need forgiveness and a restored relationship with the God who made us. That’s why Jesus came.
The good news
What has Jesus done for you?
You were made to know God.
God made you in His image. Your life has value, and you were created to know Him, love Him, and live under His good rule.
We cannot fix this ourselves.
All of us have sinned against God in what we think, say, and do. Sin is more than a mistake. It is rebellion against a holy God, and its penalty is death and separation from Him. Being kind, attending church, or trying harder cannot remove our guilt.
Jesus took our place.
Jesus is the Son of God. He lived without sin, died on the cross to bear the punishment our sin deserves, and rose bodily from the grave. He is alive. He alone can bring us back to God.
Receive His grace through faith.
You cannot earn salvation. God saves by grace through faith in Jesus, not by good works. He forgives those who turn from sin and trust in Christ as Lord and Savior, and His Spirit begins changing them from within.
Turn to Jesus. Trust Him today.
Repentance means turning from sin toward God. Faith means relying on Jesus and what He has done, rather than your goodness or effort. These belong together: you turn to the Savior who forgives you and follow Him as Lord.
You don’t need to clean up your life before coming to Him. Come honestly, confess your sin, and ask Him to save you. You can speak to God in your own words. A prayer isn’t a formula that saves you. Jesus saves.
