Why We Give?

At Lake Lynn, giving is not about obligation. It is about worship, gratitude, and trust. We believe everything we have comes from God, and we give in response to His goodness and grace. Scripture reminds us in 1 Timothy 6 that God richly provides all we need and calls us to be generous and ready to share.

When you give, you help create a place where people can come home to the hope, truth, and love of Jesus. Your generosity fuels ministry in our community and beyond. Every gift supports teaching, outreach, missions, and the everyday work of helping people find their place in God’s family.

We are committed to wise and faithful stewardship. Our finances are managed with care, and we seek to honor every gift by using it to make a lasting impact for God’s kingdom.

How to Give

Cash or Check

You can give during any Sunday service by placing cash or a check made payable to Lake Lynn Baptist Church in the giving box at the back of the sanctuary.

Help Us Rebuild the Building Fund

Taking care of our church home is part of taking care of each other.This past summer, our sanctuary AC went out during a heatwave. We acted fast and installed a new system, almost $50,000, to keep our church family cool and comfortable. We paid for it straight from our building fund.

Now we’re facing the next big need. Our building requires a new roof and steeple, a project of around $20,000. The roof protects everything underneath it, and the steeple has stood as a symbol of this church for years. Both need our attention soon.That’s two major projects back to back, and our building fund needs to be rebuilt to meet them and whatever comes next.This is where you come in. Would you give generously to help us restore the building fund? Every gift, large or small, helps us keep our church home strong for the people here today and the people who will walk through these doors tomorrow.

Do I have to give to attend Lake Lynn? +
Not at all. Giving is never a requirement to be part of Lake Lynn. You are welcome here whether you give or not. Generosity is a response of the heart, not a price of admission. Come as you are, no strings attached.
Can I make a one-time gift, or does it have to be recurring? +
Either works. You can give a one-time gift whenever you'd like, or set up recurring giving if you want to give regularly without having to remember each week. It's completely up to you.
What ways can I give? +
You can give online right here on this page, in person during a Sunday service, or by mail. Whatever is easiest for you. If you ever have questions about how to give, just reach out and we'll be glad to help.
Where does my giving go? +
Your gifts support the ministry and mission of Lake Lynn. That includes ministering to our church family, reaching our community in Fayetteville, caring for people in need, and supporting missions near and far. Your generosity helps us be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Is my gift tax-deductible? +
Yes. Lake Lynn Baptist Church is a registered nonprofit, so your gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law. We can provide a giving statement for your records at the end of the year.
Can I give in memory or honor of someone? +
