The Light That Drives Out Darkness

My wife works nights, so during the day our bedroom is pitch black. Curtains pulled tight. No sunlight sneaking in. Just darkness. And yet all it takes is one switch. One small light. Suddenly the darkness disappears.

That’s what Jesus does. Isaiah says that those who walk in darkness have seen a great light. Not a flashlight. Not a flicker. A great light. When the light of Christ breaks into your life, darkness cannot stay.

This Christmas, don’t just sit in the shadows. Let the light of Christ shine into the places you keep tucked away. You’ll be surprised how quickly hope grows when the light gets in.
