Peace Is a Person and His Name Is Jesus
Everyone wants peace. A quiet heart. A settled mind. A moment when you feel steady again. Paul promises that the peace of God will guard our hearts, but he roots that promise in Christ Himself. Peace is not a mood that drifts in and out. It is the presence of Jesus standing watch over your life.
The angels in Luke 2 said, “Peace on earth.” They were not talking about world harmony. They were pointing to the One who brings peace to human hearts. The manger held the Prince of Peace. The cross carried the sacrifice that reconciles us to God. The empty tomb confirmed that peace cannot be taken from those who belong to Christ.
If you feel unsettled today, turn to Him. He is not distant. He is not tired of you. He is not disappointed that you are struggling. Christ gives the kind of peace that reaches into fear, grief, uncertainty, and regret. Peace is not something you achieve. It is Someone you welcome.
Come home to the peace that Jesus gives. It will meet you right where you are and carry you through whatever comes next.
