Our Team

Pastor Phil began his pastoral ministry in 2001 at Faith Baptist Church in Knoxville, Maryland, where he served as youth pastor until 2005. From 2002 to 2009, he also served as the media minister for the Blue Ridge Baptist Association, using his gifts in communication and design to support churches across the region.

In 2011, Phil joined First Baptist Church of Brunswick and served there for 14 years as it became The Crossings Community Church. Now serving at Lake Lynn Baptist Church, he continues his calling with the same heart for preaching, teaching, and helping people experience the life-changing truth of God’s Word.

Phil’s ministry centers on the message of “Come Home.” Whether someone is returning to faith or exploring it for the first time, his passion is to create a place where people feel welcomed, known, and loved. He believes that the local church should be a community where anyone can find their place and grow in their relationship with Christ.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Cedarville University and a master’s in Biblical Studies from Antietam Bible Seminary. Phil also runs All Saints Media, a business that helps churches and ministries with web and graphic design.

Phil has been married to his wife Kristie since 2003, and they have five children: Kara, Ethan, Owen, Elliana, and Briella. Whether he is preaching, designing, mentoring, or just being Dad, Phil is passionate about helping people grow in faith and come home to the family of God.

Serving from 2008 to 2015 and returning in 2020, Jay and Janet Roberts have faithfully led the music ministry at Lake Lynn Baptist Church with hearts devoted to worship. Guided by Psalm 96:1 — “Sing unto the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” Their mission is simple yet powerful: to share the Gospel through song.

Jay and Janet are deeply thankful that God has blessed them to use their talents from a very young age, and their greatest desire is to please Him through their music. Their goal remains to teach, to train, and to worship with all ages, inspiring others to lift their voices and glorify God together.
