JOY: Jesus, Others, You
There is a little song some of us learned in Sunday school:
J is for Jesus, for He has first place.
O is for others, we meet face to face.
Y is for you, and whatever you do,
Put yourself third and spell joy.
It is simple, but it works. Gratitude moves us from self to service. It turns complaints into prayers and rivals into partners. Try it in your closest relationships. Ask, “How can I help?” Listen without fixing. Thank the people who steady your life. You will find that when Jesus is first and others are second, joy has a way of finding you.
Call to action: Come worship with us this Sunday as we keep learning how to live out joy through everyday humility.
