Every four years politicians promise hope. Commercials promise hope. Our own plans promise hope. But the Bible paints a different picture. Hope isn’t a feeling you work up. Hope is a certainty rooted in the character of God.

Isaiah talks about breaking the “yoke” that weighs us down — the burdens, the fears, the guilt, the pressures we can’t shake. Jesus breaks what we cannot break. He carries what we cannot carry. He brings light into places we thought would never change.

If this season feels heavy, don’t settle for a temporary lift. Turn to the One who breaks the yoke, lifts the burden, and brings you home.
