When God Is Working Behind the Wall

Dark image of a strand of DNA with the title "The DNA of a Disciple"

We hate closed doors. When something ends, our instinct is to assume God has stepped away. But the resurrection story reminds us that God often works behind walls we cannot see through. The tomb was sealed. The disciples were hiding. And God was accomplishing salvation.

Sometimes God closes off our view not to punish us, but to protect what He is building. We bang our heads against walls that God is quietly preparing to open in His time. Trust grows when we believe God is still present even when we cannot see progress.

If your life feels stuck, do not assume God is absent. He may be preparing something bigger than you imagined.
