What Door Is God Calling You Through

Betrayal by one of His closest friends. A rigged trial in the middle of the night. Beatings that should have killed Him before they even got to the cross. And finally, the cross itself, the most brutal form of execution the Roman Empire could devise.

He walked through every single one of those doors willingly. He didn’t fight back. He didn’t run. He didn’t hide behind a tree when He heard them coming. He stood there, knowing what was ahead, and He walked through it. Because His love for us was greater than His fear of the pain.
Now here’s the question that’s been sitting with me this week: what door is God calling you through that you keep walking away from?

Maybe it’s forgiving someone who hurt you deeply. Maybe it’s repenting to someone you’ve wronged. Maybe it’s stepping into a greater level of commitment in your faith. Maybe God is calling you to serve, to give, to go somewhere hard, to do something that makes no sense from a human standpoint.

Whatever it is, I want to remind you of something. Jesus already walked the hardest road. And He promised He would never leave you or forsake you on whatever road you’re on. That means you don’t walk through hard doors alone. You walk through them with the same God who walked through death and came out the other side.

The door He’s holding open for you is worth it. Trust Him enough to walk through it.
