Don’t Waste What God Put in You
In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a story about servants who were given something valuable.
Two used what they were given.
One buried it.
Not because he couldn’t use it.
Because he was afraid.
Matthew 25:25 (ESV)
“So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground.”
That still happens today.
People hold back.
They compare themselves to others.
They wait until they feel ready.
They convince themselves they don’t have enough to offer.
And in the process, they waste what God has given them.
But listen to how the master responds to faithfulness:
Matthew 25:21 (ESV)
“Well done, good and faithful servant… you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much.”
God is not asking if you have the most.
He’s asking if you are faithful with what you have.
Colossians 3:23 (ESV)
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
Don’t bury your gift.
Don’t sit on your calling.
Use what God has placed in you… for His glory.
