The Relationship Your Soul Was Created For

Every human being carries a deep longing to be known and loved. You can hear it in music, see it in movies, and feel it in everyday conversations. Our culture is full of people searching for connection.

That longing did not appear by accident. God placed it in our hearts because we were created for relationship with Him.

Jesus describes this relationship in John 15 using a powerful image. He says He is the vine and we are the branches. A branch does not struggle to produce fruit. It simply stays connected to the vine. Life flows naturally from that connection.

The same is true for our spiritual lives.

When we try to live apart from God, life becomes exhausting and empty. But when we remain close to Him, His life begins to work through us in ways we could never produce on our own.

Prayer is one of the primary ways we stay connected to Christ. It is not a ritual or a performance. It is a conversation with the One who created us and loves us deeply.

Abiding in Christ simply means remaining close to Him and allowing His presence to shape our lives.
