Come Home for Christmas
This year at Lake Lynn, we are walking through a Christmas series called Come Home for Christmas. Each week I am preaching through the story of Jesus’ arrival and the way God invites us to come home to Him with honest hearts. Christmas is more than the traditions and the noise. It is the moment when God stepped into the world with real hope and real light.
We are looking at the people who were there that first Christmas. People who were tired. People who felt overlooked. People who were carrying questions and doubts. And yet God met each one of them with grace. Mary needed courage. Joseph needed direction. The shepherds needed joy. The world needed a Savior. God answered every need through His Son.
My hope is that this series shows how the Christmas story reaches into our lives today. Jesus still meets us in the middle of ordinary days. He still speaks peace into anxious hearts and steady hope into worn out lives. If someone has been away from church or unsure where they stand with God, this series is a simple place to begin again.
Celebrate our Christmas Eve service at 4 PM. It will be a quiet, meaningful time for families to gather, reflect, and celebrate the birth of Jesus together.
If you are searching for direction, rest, or a way to reconnect with God, I hope you will come home this Christmas. There is room for you at Lake Lynn. |
