Gratitude: All My Words Fall Short
A new series in Philippians beginning November 2 at Lake Lynn Baptist Church
November is the perfect time to talk about gratitude. Before the Christmas rush begins, we’re slowing down to remember how thankfulness shapes our hearts and draws us closer to God.
Our new series, “Gratitude: All My Words Fall Short,” walks through the book of Philippians — a letter Paul wrote from prison that overflows with joy and thanksgiving. Even in hard circumstances, Paul’s heart was full of gratitude because his focus stayed on Jesus and the people who shared in the gospel with him.
Each week we’ll discover how gratitude transforms the way we see others and the world around us:
- Nov. 2 – Thank You for Your Partnership (Philippians 1:3–11)
- Nov. 9 – Grateful in Humility (Philippians 2:1–11)
- Nov. 23 – Content and Grateful in All Things (Philippians 4:10–20)
- Nov. 30 – Rejoice Always (Philippians 4:4–7)
Through this series, we’ll learn that gratitude isn’t just about saying “thank you.” It’s about recognizing God’s hand in every part of life — in people, in provision, and even in problems. Gratitude opens our eyes to the presence of Christ and reminds us that, even when our words fall short, our worship can still rise.
So whether you’re walking through a season of abundance or challenge, come join us at Lake Lynn this November. Let’s grow in joy together and rediscover the simple power of a thankful heart.
