Texts: Deuteronomy 31:6; 1 Samuel 17:45–47; Joshua 6
Intro We live in uncertain times, but uncertainty is not new. God’s people have always faced enemies that felt too big to overcome. Scripture shows a steady pattern. Fear says, “We cannot.” Faith says, “God can.”
Three anchors for your week
God is with you. “Be strong and courageous… for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
God fights for you. David’s confidence came from the Lord of hosts. Victory is not in our size or skill but in our Savior.
God’s ways work even when they look strange. Marching around Jericho did not make military sense. Obedience did. The walls fell because God keeps His word.
Take it to heart Write down one giant you have been avoiding. Pray over it. Then take one step of obedience that lines up with Scripture. Share that step with a trusted friend so they can pray with you.
Prayer Jesus, thank You that the battle belongs to You. Replace my fear with faith. Lead me to obey even when I do not see the outcome. Amen.
